Description
Solid and still very clear Victorian field glasses with lens hoods that slide, quite freely, to help prevent glare. These can be removed if preferred by unscrewing the bottom lenses and slipping them off. These glasses have a lovely patina from years of being handled, there is a slight dent on the edge of one of the lenses – as is the way with may glasses of these age – there is no damage to the lens that i can see and the operation of the glasses is not effected. Focussing is done by turning the central wheel that increases or decreases the focal length. Please examine the pictures provided as i have attempted to capture this item from all angles. |
