A heavy antique WW1 brass trench-art pestle and mortar shaped from an old artillery shell.

SOLD – African mask
An original carved wooden head piece that is freestanding but flat-backed so that it could be hung on a wall. There is a wire attached to do so.
African in origin and believed to come from Gambia, with what appears appears to be elements of an elephant mask with possibly a trunk to the top in the middle
Definitely striking and decorative with some age.

SOLD – Charlotte Fawley – La Bayadere
Charlotte Fawley is an artist with an extensive portfolio of work that has built up through her long association with the Royal Opera House Covent Garden where she works as an invited artist.
This drawing features a member of the Corps de Ballet from the 1998 production of La Bayadere at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden.
This is an unmounted or framed original artwork hand-drawn in ink of ivory paper.

For a big splash of 1960's colour on your wall, you can't go wrong with this large framed vintage print of a mountain stream scene by Robert Wood.
This is a huge piece that is in good overall condition - possibly needing a clean but with no signs of staining or other damage.

SOLD – WSM pier dragon 1
One of a pair of large layered and brightly painted wooden dragons heads that come (by repute) from the amusement arcade on Weston Super Mare Pier.
This dragon is facing right - the other faces left giving you the potential for the two pieces facing each other and forming an arch or a single piece which is bright, tactile and a lot of fun.
The overall condition is good with signs of wear and tear as seen in the photographs.

SOLD – WSM pier dragon 2

SOLD – MOD metal stencil
A large curved aluminium stencil that reads "MOD" - Ministry of Defence - and features the iconic broad arrow / crow's foot symbol. There is a slight curve to this stencil so we are guessing that it was used on cylindrical containers or boxes of some description possibly ordnance.

This is a large and heavy panel most likely from a fairground / circus game or theatrical set that depicts Oriental fire dragons within the design and the initials "SP" feature centrally in white.
Hand painted on wood with small circular mirrors applied to each end and carved into a curved almost pelmet style shape.

Pre-owned large glass Alfa Laval dairy milking machine milk collection jar (2 available).
A large heavy plate glass container that would have been at the heart of a milking machine measuring the yield from each cow as it was milked.
There is a measurement scale and the makers brand markings etched into the glass.

SOLD – Edwardian bamboo 1903
An early Edwardian antique walking stick / cane with bamboo shaft and 1903 hallmarked pommel / tip and collar which is also engraved with the owner's initials WVR in a script style and the maker's mark RHS.

A near mint condition shop counter point-of-purchase display box from the 1930's for Howard razor blades.
There are 20x boxes of blades held within the unit - each box holding 5x individually wrapped unused razor blades.
A rare piece of new-old stock.
SOLD – Royal Logistics Corp
A pre-owned original vintage British Army Royal Logistic Corps display plaque or sign which is in pretty good used condition.
A highly decorative piece with the regiment's badge and coat of arms clearly displayed in the centre, with the Corps name written on scrolls at the top and further scroll work overlaying a wreath with the names Peninsula, Waterloo, Taku Forts, Pekin and Lucknow applied. There is some wear to the top right hand corner.

A vintage linen-backed map of the world - published in 1967 and attached to two wooden poles with a cotton loop for both tying the map up securely when rolled up and for hanging from when unrolled.

An original hand painted sign advertising "Dairy Ice Cream" believed to have come from a fairground stall and dating back to the 1950's.
Painted on wood this sign has some clear signs of age with chips and scratches as shown in the photographs.

A decorative and desirable enamel sign that was either used to advertise Milkmaster milking machines or was fixed to a machine to brand it.
A great example of agricultural signage and branding from around the 1950's that would look great in any room in your house or retail space.

SOLD – Cunard 1950’s poster
A large original 1950's poster that celebrates a review of the Cunard fleet as it was in that time.
The poster is titled and names each of the 12 cruise ships / Ocean liners in the bottom border - this reads:

"Място за пушене" - a white & red Bulgarian enamel sign that translates to "Place to Smoke".

SOLD – Sri Lankan Mask
A beautifully ornate and colourful mid-20th century Sri Lankan polychrome wooden ancestors mask that measures approx 17" high x 22" wide.
Hand-painted & carved and showing the snake god Naga Rakshasa surrounded by serpents and people.
SOLD – fairground DARTS
A good sized hand painted double sided sign from a fairground sideshow darts game.
The lettering is hand painted in white on a red background on wood. There is evidence of this sign being painted over the top of an older sign as you can see the previous messages through the red paint when the light catches them.
The general condition is good but there are obvious areas of wear to the paint and the bodywork
SOLD – nautical painting
An atmospheric painting of a three masted ship under full sail in a stormy sea believed to be painted in acrylics on canvas that has then been stretched over board in an expressive manner and painterly style, being framed but not glazed.
The painting is signed and we believe the artist is F.Wells. - date unknown.

SOLD – Atsonea console table
A highly decorated reproduction Regency / Rococo style wall mounted console table / shelf made by Atsonea - probably from the 1950's.
Atsonea are known for making a range of decorative Regency and Rococo style furnishings, mirrors and other pieces in the 1950's and 1960's.
This piece is mainly wooden in construction with plaster and resin decorative areas finished in a gilt or gold paint.

Part of a much larger enamel sign that shouts the word MUSTARD across the room in heavy black Sans Serif type on a mustard yellow background.
The overall condition is good with signs of wear and corrosion visible on some edges.

SOLD – a Victorian gentleman
An unframed Victorian painting of a bearded gentleman sitting against a dark background in a jacket with a thin bow like tie and a gold watch chain.
It's possible that this piece is an overpainted albumen photograph of the subject that was applied to the canvas and then retouched with oil paint - the texture of which is evident in many areas.
There is damage in the form of a tear in the canvas that is plainly visible in the photographs supplied in the lower half of the piece and a good clean may be in order depending on your feelings about this.

SOLD – Gold Rush Slots
A fruit-machine / slot-machine / arcade game GOLD RUSH front panel which is traditionally decorated on the reverse side and would have originally been back-lit with the games reels viewed through the windows in the middle.
Made of thick perspex the overall condition of this piece is good as can be seen in the photographs attached.
An interesting decorative piece that could make an original back-lit hanging, unique picture frame or table top.
